Bhatara Turun Kabeh is an important cultural event in Bali that takes place during the 10th lunar month in Bali (usually around March). During this period, every Balinese Hindu family must visit Pura Besakih – the island’s largest and most important temple. The event begins with the 10th full moon ceremony and continues for around 2-3 weeks, allowing plenty of time for people to descend upon the temple.
